80 participants of the Youth Kayak Expedition for HK#40 embarked on a 3-day kayaking trip that included 6 stops and 2 overnight stops covering a distance of almost 90 kilometres.

The expedition began at Sungai Liang Beach towards Seri Kenangan Beach, Penanjong Beach, Jerudong Beach, Berakas Beach, Meragang Beach and ended at Tanjung Batu Beach in Muara. The expedition was flagged off at Seri Kenangan Beach by Dayang Zainab binti Haji Morshidi, Director of Youth Development and Sports. It was organised by the Youth Development Centre in collaboration with Outward Bound Brunei Darussalam, Youth and Sports Department and CARE Association.
